Responsible Gambling
Last updated: 26 April 2026
If gambling stops being fun, stop.
TheOddsTracker is an analytics service. We do not place bets and we do not hold customer funds. The information below is shared because we publish football recommendations that some users will choose to act on with their own bookmakers, and we want to be honest about the risks that come with that.
Gambling carries risk
You can lose money. Past performance — even a long winning streak — is not indicative of future results. No system, including ours, can predict any individual match with certainty.
Age requirement
You must be at least 18 years old to use TheOddsTracker. In some jurisdictions the legal gambling age is higher; if so, that age applies to you. By signing up you represent that you meet the requirement.
Stake within your means
Our Signals settle in flat 1-unit stakes for performance accounting. That is not a recommendation of how much real money to risk. Set a budget you can afford to lose, in advance, and do not chase losses. Never gamble with borrowed money.
Warning signs
If any of the following describe you, please pause and seek help:
- Gambling more than you can comfortably lose.
- Chasing losses with bigger stakes.
- Hiding gambling from family, friends, or partners.
- Borrowing or selling possessions to fund gambling.
- Feeling anxious, irritable, or depressed when not gambling.
- Gambling interfering with work, school, sleep, or relationships.
Where to get help
The following services are free, confidential, and independent of TheOddsTracker.
- GamCare — UK helpline (0808 8020 133), live chat, support groups.
- BeGambleAware — UK information, self-assessment tool, treatment finder.
- Gambling Therapy — international, multi-language online support.
- Gamblers Anonymous (UK) — peer-support meetings.
- NCPG (US helpline directory) — 1-800-GAMBLER.
Self-exclusion
If you want to take a break from TheOddsTracker, email [email protected] and we will deactivate your account, cancel renewal, and suppress notifications. We can also block re-registration with the same email for a self-nominated period.
To exclude yourself from gambling sites at the platform level, the UK's GAMSTOP self-exclusion scheme covers all Gambling-Commission-licensed UK operators with a single registration.
If you are in crisis
In the UK, contact Samaritans on 116 123 (free, 24/7). In the US, the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Outside those countries, dial your local emergency number.
